Citizenship and commitment applied to the story Christmas storms and sunshine. Citizenship is the position or status of being a citizen of a particular country, commintment  is a promise to do or give something ,a promise to be loyal to something or someone. The story christmas storms and sunshine is based on the constant fight between two families and how at the end they set asside their differences and have a good relation. People can relate the story with these values because the problem is developed by the diferences between both families and how they are not able to accept each other the way they are. The value citizenship is reflect on the way that the husbads who were the compositors of opposite political newspapers are the ones who fight the less even if they have diferent preferences and and how the wifes that are just humans dont have a good relationship. THE LADY OF SHALOTT-PATIENCE/ CARING In order to compare these two values with the poem “the lady of shallot” is important to understand the meaning of both. Patience is the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious. And caring is feeling or showing concern for or kindness to others. The relation between these values and the poem is big but all related to the lady of shallot and not to other characters. This is because she is the one who suffer in the story and the one who have to fight to get what she wanted. First of all, the author writes this based on love and how powerful it is. ·          FAIRNESS/JUSTICE APPLIED TO: A MODEST PROPOSAL ·            To understand the relation between the essay a modest proposal and the values fairness and justice the definition of these words must be clear; fairness is to treat or behave without discrimination or favoritism and justice is the quality of being just or the system by which people are judged in courts of law and criminals are punished. The essay a modest proposal is based on money and is basically about poor people. Relating the values with Jonathan swift who is the author of the essay, he suggests a shocking solution to the problem, but, this solution is not related at all with fairness or justice and the essay neither. TONI THE CUTE CHILD. In a small town of Colombia called “la mesa de los Santos“ used to live a big family of 13 members. This family used to have good relationship because they received an education that was based on values .
