essay N.4
HOW DO YOU THINK CHRISTMAS MUST BE CELEBRATED?
Christmas is celebrated
to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, who Christians believe is the Son of God.
The name Christmas comes from the Mass of Christ or Jesus. In a communion or eucharistic
is where Christians remember that Jesus died for us and then came back to life.
Christmas is now celebrated by people around the world, whether they are
Christians or not. It's a time when family and friends come together and
remember the good things they have. People, and especially children, also like
Christmas as a time when you give and receive presents. Some of the good things
about Christmas are food, presents and that is the time where you can spend
time with your family, also if you have a traditional family you must eat the
same food of every year on Christmas, and you get presents for being a good
person over the time. In some countries Christmas arrived with a cold climate
which is cons of this period, but at the same time is a beautiful season that
only comes ones in a year and helps families to spend time together because they
can play in the snow. At this time of the year not everyone has the possibility
or the stable economy to receive or buy presents and this is a financial
problem that may arrived on Christmas for the families. In my opinion Christmas
is a time to be grateful, to spend with your family, and to celebrate the birth
of God. Christians families have traditions and they take this season as a time
to thanks Jesus Christ to save us from our sins. family likes to decorate home
with the traditional Christmas tree which have a special meaning and its
decorated with lights, tinsel, and other ornaments, the lights on the Christmas
tree may represent the light of God's spirit, the importance of enlightenment
or knowledge, or the warmth of family love. Some modern Christians believe that
the red ornaments or decorations on a Christmas tree are symbolic of Christ's
blood or sacrifice. Another Christmas traditional decoration is the manger
which is very traditional in Colombia. Christmas is love, God gave
His Only Son to take our punishment for our sins. He paid the price in full,
and we are free from condemnation when we accept that gift of love.
